AMCAS is a world wide expert in exploiting on a fee for service basis a unique model with a human like immune system in the fields of infectious diseases, auto-immune diseases and cancer. AMCAS offers this expertise to academic institutes and (bio)pharmaceutical industries.
AMCAS is located on the premises of the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam (AMC), The Netherlands. AMCAS was initiated as a spin out of the AMC, a well-known research centre in the field of immunology and infectious diseases. AMCAS exploits qualified facilities at the AMC premises and employs personnel with longstanding experience in standardized experiments.
AMCAS provides fee for service preclinical studies using a unique model supporting the development of both the human innate and adaptive immune systems. The model can be manipulated to answer questions linked to developmental biology or treatment purposes (therapeutics and vaccines).
